The double-track roll forming machine for the production of stainless steel clamping rings is designed to produce high-precision stainless steel rings. The machine performs roll forming and calendering of metal rings, ensuring continuous production of about 25 meters per minute.

The coil is loaded onto an uncoiler and passes through a centering system that removes burrs and aligns the material for processing. The smooth strip can be marked by hydraulic units before entering the roll forming phase. The marked strip is then curved to form stainless steel rings.
The machine allows customization of the ring diameter by setting the parameter directly on the PLC. It is possible to produce rings with diameters ranging from 200 mm to 700 mm. The calender adjustment, necessary to apply the correct rotation to the profile, is simple and mechanical, allowing for easy production of rings in different sizes.
One of the key innovations of this system is the presence of two semi-independent roll forming lines, which allow work on different sections using a single motor. This system reduces costs and improves efficiency, as some components are shared between the two lines.
The entire process is managed by an advanced PLC that monitors each stage of production, ensuring precision and safety. The machine can be controlled remotely and includes photocells for production monitoring. Additionally, further hydraulic units can be integrated to expand the system’s processing capabilities.
The system is equipped with active and passive safety systems, with multiple emergency stop buttons to halt the machine in case of anomalies. These systems, along with CE compliance, ensure the machine is safe and eligible for Italian and European legal benefits.
To further improve productivity, a motorized uncoiler with a load capacity of up to 1 ton is available, featuring an inverter for speed control. Detection sensors automatically stop production in case of strip misalignment.
